So, to catch up, Spring break was crazy, wild, and fun. We went to several parks in the area that we haven't been too.
We learned how to climb.
How to pose like a princess. They also used their scooters to race down a hill mom didn't know was so slanted and crash into the grass. Fun times though.
Any place to climb, scooter, skateboard, or play at we found.
These are more park pictures where they had fun. This is a plunger like thing that spun fast. It was so great, mom had to try it. And yes her bum fit just fine.
This is the chair dad caught 20 ft down after it plunged over the side of the deck by the wind. Just barely nicked the edge of it with the hook. Lucky Catch dad!
The performance that was just beautiful with a little extra underwear showing by Kowen. He kept trying to poke them back under the unitard, but to no avail. It takes a real boy to wear a unitard.
This is Kandons hello from the other side of the cafeteria window where I waved bye after Kilee's small 4th grade ceremony. Crazy dude.
We saw this in Justice and thought it was cute. Someone has finally put Mormon sayings on mainstream clothes. No I didn't buy it though.
These are the high heels Kilee kept begging for, and no I still haven't found a pair we that agree on height. She will just have to continue to wear her black boots to church.
These are the boys hair cuts they chose. Kowen loves the short spikey mo-hawk look, and Kandon was finally persuaded to trim it up. Although more than mom wanted, he seemed to like his Justin Beaver look. It has grown out some and mom sure likes it better now.
Kilee has been begging to chop her long hair off. Moms comment of this picture, but not so short guess fell on deaf ears cause the lady cut it the same way as pic. Oh well, hopefully it grows by December's acting audition.
Dad helped Kandon build a small bike ramp from the neighbors trash on the street. Love recycled stuff.
Kowen loves to climb. We find him up the light posts often and have to remind him again and again that they are unsafe and we do not want to replace them. But that we are proud of him and sorry he has no trees to climb.
Oh no, mom is not playing water guns, only the kids in the neighborhood boy. I think he squirted me anyways.
Kilee won the shuttle run at her school and agains all other Mad River Schools, so she was able to go to the Dayton area tournament and took third place. Good Job Kilee!
Dad had a beard, then came downstairs and had a goatee. The boys were like, How'd ya do that? They finally understood he just shaved some hair off and left some. So they decided they wanted one too, but couldn't wait to grow one themselves. Dad took a brown washable marker and created happy hairy faces.
This is Kilee's art project on the top. She entered a Mad River School System contest and was chosen as a finalist. She didn't win overall, but it sure was fun to go to the Dayton Aviation Museum and see her work of art on display for a while.
Mom's FHE lesson was a scavenger hunt, but to decide who was to find what number clue, they had to aim a spitball at the numbers on the door and see which ones they hit. The spitballs of course didn't stay aimed at the door, and Dad was the main culprit. Lots of fun though!
This is the Spit ball that Kandon caught in the glasses.
