Fwd:

Happy anniversary Aiti n Gpa!

Fwd:

We just have a baptism to go to and she really didn't want to go next the she put on makeup n wanted me to curl hair. I the she is practicing dressing up for church tom. Silly girl.

Fwd:

Who do i look like mom? Marilyn Monroe?

Fwd:

Here is the sonogram they say 9th I say 8 but I will take the one week advance. Not sure how far here but somewhere between 12 n 16 bc I'm out of bed. Ha trying to show team spirit in shirt dad got me. Yes the lost to Auburn later this year n didn't go to championship but oh well.

Fwd:

Love all my boys. Kowen still loves to cuddle. Not sure how many weeks but before Halloween so no more than 16.

Fwd:

Kilee dressed up for character day at school. They read a book n all 6th grade had to choose a character. This is from The Westinghouse Game her name is Slidelle Pulaski. She is a secretary with a hurt foot on purple crutches and dresses nicely w bling. KILEE got 3rd place in all 6th grade. Yes I spray painted our crutches bc we have so many. Her hair didn't stay. Another Slidelle won first n an uncle Sam second. She of course had purple heals that we tried to tie on through her ankle wrap. Wish mom's cam didn't only take blurry pics while on way to school. N yes she had to carry her sax too n books in jean purse bag n lunchbox too. In style.

Fwd:

Mom found him an airman like jacket n he loved it for a while. His smile is changing. He has since lost two teeth on bottom too. Oh the joy. He pulled his bottom 2nd right out during class at church n the other side on Dec 26th just while watching Bolt on tv. He just sat n wiggled. Wish he had done that with other but no it took so many months I forgot n the permanent tooth squeezed Ard it n is crooked. Oh no choice but retainers n braces in the near future for this boy.

Fwd:

This dog found something in my church bag while I was in the shower. I took it for a lesson. She got top off n had a good time until mom took it away to give sparingly. It's not like we could use it yuck. Crazy dog.

Fwd:

Here's your foot. I saw you wave but the man said I couldn't have any of the before pics where they were measuring. This is at the end and you were tired n moved down and refused to budge. Lots of love.

Fwd:

Definitely a boy. Mommy saw it in the very beginning before the man even started to look. This was 20 weeks. Always cool to see the baby move on screen. Wish for 3rd and be able to video but that's a no no. Oh well. Soon n we will have you in our arms.

Fwd:

Here is Kilee singing at the nursing home. It was nice to hear them louder than the music on stage. She had good facials compared to all the other kids who looked bored.

Fwd:

We played eat the donut which kids enjoyed. Cheynne won while Reagan who was lying on ground was still eating when boys started their turn. Lots of fun. Koen had to hold his still while kind on did the circling Ard before he had someone hold it. Oh yummy Krispy kreme.

Fwd:

Kilee wanted a 3 tier cake but got just a small double but it was tye dye on bottom n strawberry on top. She said she didn't like it be I put sprinkles on after the writing n couldn't read it well. Oh well they ate eat n all the girls liked it n well it was so better than kowens poor b day cake I felt good enough.
They played bow the cotton candy across table n enjoyed it. All things candy are hard not to enjoy. Maybe they were on sugar highs since we started at 830 pm after show choir singing at nursing home. They played an eat the candy if you have done this which they enjoyed both bc eaten n bc learning silly stories abt each other. Girls crazy girls.

Fwd:

We had Kilee b day party a week late be of show choir then the coach schedules an impromptu practice n some girls could spend night by getting up. It turned out to snow n practice cancelled. One girl came back Ard lunch next day to enjoy more time.
We played lots of games. Here we tried the pass the lifesaver only to realize later the sticks too big n had to get toothpicks has sorry. They made cookies on day two but covered them with so much candy they said they were gross n wiped it all off before eating.

Fwd:

Here is the ugly Christmas sweater I made for cliffs work party. He didn't win but lots of people liked his no peeking hat. All the thrift stores were out n said people look for them months ahead.

Fwd:

Before and after Mon. DEC. 16TH 2013. After a year of in visa Lynn almost and not wearing them by felt kids laugh or wanted to snack and not wear them. She got the torture of braces n oh how she complained for days of pain. Tuesday she didn't go sing at show choir holiday show. We'd we went in to clip poking wire n things got better. But oh how she lived on jello n pudding n soup for days. She even got sick of them. Uhh I am dreading every 6 was or so of tightening. Wish us all good luck.

Saturday, December 28, 2013

Here I am on way to church Christmas party. I am 23 weeks I think. Yes I already get the boy are you big, are you sure there is only 1 in there, and you look miserable you must be due any day now. Nope as always only 5 months got to all the way to April.
The food wasn't good, Santa pics in the dark, but decor and a good turn out. Dad left to attend a work party and we stayed until we left to take Kilee n Eli Haun to a show choir event.
As big as I am, I am still nausious at 26 weeks and only getting bigger. I can't believe 14 weeks n he will be here. Sooner for Jill and Daylyn's boy. Bless us both n all.

Oh its xbox all day all vacation. Last night the boys played lots of games with dad. ALTHOUGH I LOVE HIM SPENDING Time with the boys they played from at least 8 pa til almost 1am. It was a Friday and is vacation but oh the noise. Lol.

Kilee attended the Columbus temple for the first time on Dec. 18th. Mom and dad's anniversary. We were both able to go. Dad even baptized her for 10 family members to include great great grandma Mary Edna Stork paw paws mom. Also granny's 3 sisters including Helen , Toini which dad called Tony. And other cousins Aiti new like Brenda Kay Hamilton. Kilee went first since she had names and Elizabeth Ladle got to do the other 8 ladies. So nice. Hyrum taylor, James Connell and Ammon Kellars were some of the boys to do the 17 men.
I got to go in the confirmations with her even not dressed in white be ladies got dressed while I was doing names oh well next time.
Bro. Kelly confirmed with Bro. CLAYTON KEEPING TRACK. I CAN REMEMBER THE 3RD MAN. Then all kids helped clean which I don't remember doing as a youth or when as a leader but it has been 10 years since yw leader.
We all stopped at McDonald for ice cream even though freezing with snow. Kilee had just gotten her braces 2 days before and could eat her hamburger or should I say was embarrassed to try and pick it apart n eat it. It seemed she had a good time and enjoyed playing Life on her tablet with Elizabeth after her homework.

Isn't he so cute and growing up. This was taken to try to get a job but by of his missing top tooth it was a no. Poor guy goes in on Jan. 3rd to begin getting retainers to expand his little mouth. It begins again.

Here is Uncle Daylyn's version.

Here are the glasses Aunt Jill was gonna send but found trying to send all the gifts were expensive and wouldn't fit in boxes. Therefore mom found them last minute and added to her gift of a puff pancake maker. Hope I can be a good enough chef to make them.

Here is the guitar mom got herself and family with her Christmas money from Aiti n Gpa and more. Maybe by this time next year somebody, anybody can play a song.

These are the pj's dad got everyone for their traditional opening of one gift on Christmas Eve n boy did they beg all day since mom said they probably wouldn't be she was tired n dad would be late from work n shopping. Yeah they fit. Even Kilee which we think are adult mediums. They are all growing up.

Here is our Christmas morning. Kids got a be gun from Santa and bow and arrows from us. Lots of clothes and games. Mommy got more pearl earrings and necklace from dad to go with the anniversary necklace. Oh she thinks it too much money, but thank you. Daddy got a telescope from Aiti n gpa and a kreg jeg from mom. Maybe he will actually make something with it. Merry Christmas to all.

Dad slaving over the Cornish hens for dinner. Oh la la!

Daddy decided to do Christmas dinner thus year. He bought six Cornish hens. Boy were kids excited and a little discussed to have a full hen on their plate. Kilee commented how just awhile before these were running around. They turned out to be too red for the rest of us so dad put them back in the oven. Then he took them apart and cooked the legs n things separately. Mom almost through up trying to eat skin that wouldn't go down and coul X not palate more than one piece later. Poor dad thought it an epic faul. No different takes time and mom doesn't like things on bone anyways. So she made chicken Verde over rice 2 days later and there is still meat for dad to put in his Rama noodles like he likes. That would not be an epic fail. Thanks for Christmas dinner dad.

Well the boys have played Minecraft on the computer for more than a year. Today is Dec. 26, 2013 and yesterday the boys got an xbox from Aiti and Grandpa. Santa gave them the Minecraft game. They were able to finally convince Kilee to play and build for at least an hour. She is so brave. Not mommy I am still saying no to placing block after block on a screen. Oh I got so bored I had to go upstairs for a nap. Kilee came up soon after to ask if she could make dinner. Oh happy joy joy for me when 45 min later she brought me a tray with mini blueberry muffins and pancakes. Yummy. Thanks kids.

Merry Christmas 2013

Photo: Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night n New Year!

Merry Christmas 2013

Well, another year has passed and since I didn’t write a Christmas letter last year, I thought I should put forth more effort this year. It seems like it has taken a long time to get here, but yet here we are with the end of the year approaching quickly.  I’ll start with the oldest, skip me, and talk about the kids. Sounds good!!

Clifton enjoyed building a picnic table and large tv stand in January. He also enjoyed his birthday while watching his two favorite teams, Alabama and Notre Dame, play for the Championship. NO such luck this year, so we won’t even dwell on that. He will however soon be 39 years and holding.  This year he showed us a trick he has secretly been hiding. He can take dental floss and run it through his mouth and out his nose. Yeah gross, I’m gagging just writing it, but it was amazing to watch when I had my eyes open.  He graduated from his RAM Residency this summer and has entered his Family Practice Residency.  This allows us to stay here for two and a half more years.  When done, this will be the longest we have ever lived somewhere, five whole years in one spot. He has enjoyed his second internship, since he technically did one in 2006, but they won’t count that. The nurses love him because he helps and does things other docs won’t do because he is both nice and hasn’t had the opportunity to do them while working in the flight clinic. He is working hard and already lining himself up to hopefully be Chief Resident  for his second and third year. He is still gone a lot, but is at least in town and home most evenings.  He recently enjoyed playing in the Thanksgiving morning Turkey bowl with other church members and of course felt the pain for the next week or more. Yet, no rest days for him, it’s back to the hospital, pain and all.

Kilee has had an exciting year. She received her Invisalign to straighten her teeth and has been working on that for the past year, unfortunately, she didn’t work as hard as we had hoped and is getting braces soon. She graduated elementary school and moved on to middle school. She is keeping busy with Honors English, Honors Math, Band, Show Choir practices and performances, and everything else. She is feeling the pressure, but surviving. This summer she enjoyed playing softball for the first time and looks forward to next year. Surprise she is great at it just like we told her she would be if she just tried. It helped that all the cute boys from church would also be on the team. Hee Hee. She also got the lead in the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of Pinocchio, yes that means she was Pinocchio.  She didn’t like the overalls, but  loved the attention. Bring on next year’s play. She just turned 12 and has left Primary behind and entered Young Women’s in church.  She enjoys singing and dancing around the house, dressing her brothers and their friends up in dresses and makeup for making a web show, playing in the snow, and eating lots of candy. Her stomach and headaches decreased in January and she now enjoys eating anything, especially candy. I am sure her sensitivities will come back as we continue to eat junk, but at least we have an idea this time. She just recently got a Kindle Fire and has been enjoying life with a tablet. She still prances like a diva, but now is upping her heels and wearing makeup. My baby girl is growing up.

Kandon turned a decade old this year. He is now in the fifth grade and is enjoying the gifted class. He is all about Minecraft on the computer this year. He wants me to download anything and everything that will allow him to make Minecraft videos and upload them to Youtube.  I have to pry him away from the computer to do homework, but he always gets it done and makes good grades. He also played softball and looks forward to next year playing with Kilee’s age group. He enjoys his teachers this year, which is always nice and makes wanting to go to school easier. This is the last year he will ever ride the bus with his brother, which makes me sad, but hey, they all have to grow up sometime. He got his first girlfriend this year, it didn’t last long, but certainly wasn’t any heart break. He also saved enough money for an Ipod touch and has been enjoying talking to friends and Facetiming with family. He was able to be in a short student film and see what it was like to be in a small production.  He moved up to Webelos in scouts and is enjoying his last year as a cub. He recently wants to shave off his long hair, but mom won’t let him. Too drastic I say, wait til you are 12 when dad says absolutely no more long hair. We will see who wins.

Kowen is still a loving boy who loves to hug and snuggle. He turned seven and continues to see himself just as big as everyone else. He was so excited to be 49 inches this year so he could ride some of the big kid rides at Kings Island. He still has to grow to 54 before riding Diamondback, but he is gung ho. He is all about wearing the same black pants to school, even after I cut them into shorts, and it has turned to winter again. That boy. He even wears them under his other jeans when we say he can’t wear them. I think they just need to get lost one day. He also showed he has great skills playing softball and can’t wait to play with the big kids. He has never thought he couldn’t do what the big kids could, even when he is half their size. He is in the second grade now and has recently finished reading his 500th book in 18 months or so. It helps that they are shorter first and second grade levels, but hey, still an awesome job and has patches on his shirt to be proud of. Next goal, 1000. He is also all about Minecraft and the computer. These boys just love to stack blocks on the computer, I just don’t get it. Oh, well. Both he and Kandon have asked for an XBOX for Christmas, why, so they can play Minecraft on it too. LOL. Kowen has lost his two front teeth, loves to wrestle with dad or play anything with him, broke his arm at a skating rink while on vacation this summer,  and did a few plays too this year.

Well that leaves me. I have enjoyed the peace and quiet, minus the dog, this year, but look forward to next April when our son will be born and life will go back to all day craziness. I have been released from cub scouts and am back teaching primary. I have enjoyed being Kowen’s teacher for a few weeks.  I’m  old, nauseous, tired, and fat, but so glad that I am.

Well, that is a quick sum up of our year. I haven’t blogged much, so my memory is slim too.

We hope that everyone is well and healthy. May the Holidays be bright and the season full of joy and peace!

The kids went ice skating with Kilee's show choir. Ohh if I had known before that day I probably wouldn't have suggested boys go and I would have stayed home. It was the coldest day of year below 10 with a wind chill. I forced them to bring their coats, gloves, and hats, although Kilee refused to mess up her hair. First I drove around lookn for a non metered spot but finally found coins in purse only to realize when leaving that no coins needed after 6pm. Oh well. Kids took off jackets but mom embarrassed kilee by wearing sweater then beige fleece jacket then coat that doesnt button bc too fat n a blanket and two hats. And I was still cold after 2 hot chocolates. They took to skating easily and had fun. We had to force kandon to leave bc we were cold but although miserable glad we went. Problem they want to go again.

Kowen's July headshots

Here are Kowen's headshots from July I took. Such a cutie and growing up fast.
