Life is just flying by!

Life is going by so fast. Today, Sun. Aug. 18-12, Kilee pulled out her last baby tooth.  Oh she is only ten and so grown up.  I remember when she would refuse to touch her teeth and that is why the top are crooked, but she has been brave and pulled out so many this year I lost count. She is on her way to braces finally since this last tooth has fallen, been pulled (sorry must give credit), out now. If only she would wear her retainer always. She has had so many loose teeth, she always takes it out saying it hurts or feels funny or is rubbing and makes a cavity. I can't believe she will be 11 in a few months. Life definitely flies by.

So the kids found a preying mantis, the brown stick below, and kept it with crickets they caught. They enjoyed watching the mantis eat the crickets, but they didn't give it water regularly bc they were afraid to put their hand in there and put a bottle top full of water down there. Therefore, mom made them let them all go. Even the legless cricket worked his way off the sidewalk. Nature and animals always find interested minds.

Yep, still watching the mantis go in the grass, well stay, it didn't move very fast, so mom left. I don't remember how long they watched it and yelled, "There it is, it's still there."
Hair cut time again before school. Not at all what we wanted, and Kandon got a botch job from a different stylist again. Uhhh he needs his bangs cut, here is picture he likes, but we want to keep as much length as possible didn't she understand. Well just the part of make it like pic is all she cared about. Not even looks like pick but oh well. At least Kowen was happy.

Thrift store find for 2 bucks. Grandpa and Kandon search so many stores while we were in Alabama, that they gave up finding his style and at a decent price. These he bought himself since mom refuses to buy thrift store shoes bc she is afraid of fungus even if washed. I don't know what it is, clothes washed and wear, shoes, no.

This is his best fake smile he could muster after his hair cut. He said he had worked so hard to grow that hair and loved swishing his bangs, oh well, let it grow out again.
 Upside down and happy!

Yes it took mom a whole lot of pushing to get her up there for her doc. dan flat pic for the orthodontist who is having a contest for a free ipad for best picture. No sure if this will make the 3 but
When will we go home mom, its been like 15 min?  Kilee has headaches and stomaches, probably from a food sensitivity intolerance we can not narrow down, but has improved from limiting processed foods, but we had her eyes checked just in case.
Nope she doesn't need glasses, although Kowen and I could see that she missed a whole lot of letters and numbers during her exam, but we will follow the doc, since mom didn't want to buy glasses. Poor Kilee thinks they look cool and she wants a pair. The doc said all kids could benefit from a pair of reading glasses for indoor and computer, but mom didn't give in that day, maybe later when she can spare the 75 dollars.

Can I get a new helmet, I do not like the 2 I have? Nope said mom.
Lookie Lookie who is in the base newspaper.  It is mommy and Kandon's purple shirt. We got in line for the Cinncinnati Bengals autographs.  We were second in line bc we chose to eat at a table instead of get in line, and boom that man stood in line. Anyways. We could have had our names in the paper too, but all is well. I almost threw away the paper since I only check the coupons anyways and flipped it over on accident and well what do ya know, I forgot to look for the pic or check the news on tv that day. Oh well. Guess life flies buy too much and too busy to remember what to do at the end of the day.
Bella had a big day. We took her to the park and she got a long walk around the walking path. Then when we got home later, well she turned pink.
The kids were doing sidewalk chalk and Bella didn't know to stay away since she has to be with everyone, doing everything they do. She is just that kind of dog. If you are going somewhere she is begging to go.

It took a lot of chalk, but they persisted.
They then tried to make a movie about a girl asking for cotton candy, but receiving a dog instead, but the battery on the camera ran out at the end. Oh well. They then had to bathe her outside in a bucket, in which she jumped out easily.  But everything did not come out. She is still pick on the head and neck and has a blue foot.
We went to a scout water gun pack meeting at a members home and next to it is a grave yard. In it was civil war and supposedly revolutionary heroes barried. I saw an 1811 6 mth old baby head stone, but it was too dark and too many kids running around that I made them leave before they broke one of the stones and I have to put it in the pile of already broken ones.  I asked questions about what was the revolutionary and civil war in order to count it for Kandon's historic site to visit for his scout book. See I no need to travel far or spend money, places to see right in someone else's backyard.
We went to the Hauffman Prairies fair where the National Park people had old time activities associated about the Wright brothers and old timey cars. They got to play a few rounds with the men. Kilee and Kowen got some good hits. Kilee was so excited she got a hit and didn't want to get out, that she ran out of her flip flop and didn't stop. No one noticed for several minutes til the pitcher got it. Way to go kids.

Our house is coming together and the siding and dry wall are up now. We are all ready to watch the stone front and fixings be added. A month to go or so and we can move in, well after we paint the whole, house and basement. I think we will hire someone this time.

So, this is the bucket that we washed Bella in outside, that has not been refilled with all the dress up clothes that clutter the boys room.  Kandon and Kowen enjoyed seeing if they could fit inside it with the top on. Yep, barely for Kandon. Then they decided to push and pull each other around. Mom put a stop to the down the stairs ride just in time. Kandon liked it so much he decided to bring Bella in on the fun and just chill for a while. Guess he thought life just was flying by too and wanted to relax a bit before going at it again. Mom wishes they would all do that, but for a much much longer time. Just chill and relax, and please don't grow up too fast. (Already happening!)
